All KEFCO's IBC units are UN/DOT approved, four way forkliftable and equipped with heavy duty ball valves. Top opening is a 7" butress threaded cap with center 2" combination vacuum breaker/pressure relief fitting. Available options: Tamper evident, Door protection, and Top discharge.

UN tagged and tested for the transportation of hazardous and corrosive liquids as authorized in 49 CFR 172.01 table of hazardous materials (HAZMATS) and special provisions.

Linear polyethylene tanks are rototationally molded in one piece, seamless construction. HDPE tanks can be used indoors or outdoors; UV Inhibitors are added to the resin before the vessel is molded. How do rotationally molded PE tanks compare to fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks?

Advantages of tanks produced from rotationally molded polyethylene (PE) over tanks produced with FRP include: greater impact resistance, a homogeneous wall, better weatherability, a broader range of chemical resistance, and lower cost. Advantages over mild steel and stainless steel include: better stress-crack resistance in mobile applications due to stress-free construction, a broader range of chemical resistance, seamless wall construction, more economical site preparation and installation and a lower price in many cases.
